There will soon be more jewellery talk on this blog. After the A to Z challenge in April it has been nice to withdraw for a while. As a matter of fact, I’m pretty proud I made it through to Z, and even beyond.
I don’t have (yet) a specific space for banners here on my blog, but here is one that I do want to put up: I survived my first A to Z challenge!
So, what exactly did I “survive” here?
1. A strict schedule – what a great help that is!
2. The fear of failing – I realised that the only possible “failure” here would be to not even give it a try. And I have to say it’s really fun and rewarding to do!
3. The threat of running short of things to say – I no longer worry about it.
I am very grateful to the organisers of the A to Z, who were doing a great job to motivate us all throughout April. More than that, they also put in place this road trip which is the next banner in this post.
This is exactly what I need and what I will do now: Take time to explore other A to Z bloggers, because there are so many of them!
I will now continue travelling in the A to Z landscape, to see what I come across.
If you read this as a blogger and did not yet participate, then find out more about the A to Z. The theme and scope of your blog doesn’t matter, the A to Z format fits any kind of blog. You decide yourself how to use the letter theme.
If you are not yet a blogger, perhaps this is the perfect way to start up and get going? Just have a look around and see for yourself, you find the entire list of participating blogs here.
I hope this will inspire you to join the challenge next year April!
Congrats! Indeed, the only failure is to not give it a try. The Challenge has taught me a lot about writing, community, deadlines … and patience. š
Will see you on the “road trip.”

Yes, it is, and the nice thing about this Road trip is that there is no time limit, I’ll just keep going throughout the year. Very relaxed cruising… š
